Has anyone noticed that there is a rapidly increasing population of Caucasians in KK? Like, I can just walk around in any mall and see 1-5 of them in...let's say two hours or so, especially in Gaya Street areas, Wisma, Centre and 1B.
And I looks like most of them are locals, not tourists. I just saw a couple just now buying stuff like toilet paper, an ironing board, bedsheets and stuff. My mom thinks it's because Sabah is becoming one of the places they like to migrate to after retirement. It does seem that way. Sometimes I think if Sabah were to part from M'sia, we'd do pretty well, maybe even better.
We've got islands, mountains, oil, gold, wood, tourism, crops, palm oil, cocoa, rubber, rivers, seas etc. (even strawberries and apples!) And I know for a fact that most of our paddy and veggie income goes to KL before
only a tiny fraction of it gets distributed back to us. Ugh. Stupid government.
PS: Hiatus over. Let the party begin (not...)
